Ivy-leaved cyclamen (Cyclamen hederifolium) 5 bulbs

Ivy-leaved cyclamen (Cyclamen hederifolium) - a hardy, perennial plant that reaches about 20 cm in height. From late summer to autumn it blooms with delicate, upward-facing pink flowers with a dark purple pattern at the base of the flower. After flowering, decorative ivy-shaped leaves with silvery marbling develop and persist through winter. Bulbs are planted from September to November.

In Latvia it can overwinter in the ground, but it needs a well-drained site protected from prolonged winter wetness. In harsher, snowless winters, a layer of mulch or leaves is recommended. If the site is wet and heavy, it is safer to grow it in a more sheltered place, because winter moisture can be more dangerous for the tubers than the frost itself.
