Persian lily, 1 bulb
Persian fritillary (Fritillaria persica) is an impressive bulbous plant with a slender stem reaching 80–100 cm tall and a dense cluster of up to 20–30 dark purple, almost black, bell-shaped flowers, complemented by narrow, grey-green leaves. Blooming in April–May, it thrives best in a sunny, warm spot with well-drained soil. Bulbs should be lifted after flowering and stored at the correct temperature — ideally very warm, at least +25 °C — while also protecting them from drying out. They are then replanted in autumn.
