Persian lily ‘Ivory Bells’ (Fritillaria persica) - grace in the garden. An 80–100 cm tall stem bears a dense cluster of up to 20–30 greenish-cream, bell-shaped flowers. It blooms in April–May, grows best in a sunny, warm spot with well-drained soil, and makes a striking vertical accent in spring flower beds and naturalistic plantings. The bulbs should be dug up after flowering and stored at the right temperature. They need to be kept very warm, at least 25°C, and protected from drying out. Replant them in autumn.
