Tulip ‘Avant Garde’ is an early double variety with impressively large, densely petaled blooms reminiscent of peonies. The petals are a soft creamy white with a hint of greenish-yellow at the center, giving the flower a fresh and refined appearance. Growing about 45–50 cm tall, it blooms in late April, retains its decorative appeal for a long time, and holds well in a vase. Suitable for luxurious spring plantings as well as cut flowers, it should be planted in sunny or lightly shaded locations with fertile, well-drained soil.
