Dahlia 'Boom boom White' 1 tuber
Dahlia 'Boom boom White' - a ball dahlia with perfectly round, symmetrical and densely filled snow-white flowers (7–10 cm). This variety is very productive, forms strong, straight stems and blooms continuously from mid-summer until frost. ‘Boom Boom White’ is especially popular for cut-flower growing.
Dahlia tubers are planted outdoors in a bed after the last frosts, usually in May. If you want flowering to start earlier, the tubers can be started in March and April by placing them in a pot and keeping the pot indoors. The tubers will begin to sprout new shoots; the resulting plants can then be transplanted outdoors when there is no longer a risk of frost.
In autumn, the tubers are dug up and overwintered in a box in a cellar or another cool place.
