Dahlia 'Cafe de Paris' 1 tuber
Dahlia 'Cafe de Paris' - an expressive dahlia of the semi-cactus type with (15–18 cm) flowers in cream, beige, and soft peach-pink tones. The flowers have a light, refined appearance that stands out both in the garden and in floral arrangements. The plant reaches about 90–120 cm in height, forms strong, long flower stems, and blooms profusely from July until the first frosts. ‘Café de Paris’ is especially valued for cut flowers.
Dahlia tubers are planted outdoors in a bed after the last frosts, usually in May. If you want earlier flowering, you can start waking the tubers in March and April by placing them in a pot and keeping the pot indoors. The tubers will start producing new shoots; after that, the formed plants can be transplanted outdoors when frosts are no longer a threat.
In autumn, the tubers are dug up and overwintered in a box in a cellar or another cool place.
