Dahlia 'Golden scepter' 1 tuber
Dahlia 'Golden scepter' - attracts attention with a rich golden-yellow color that looks warm and vibrant in the garden. 'Golden scepter' looks especially good in combination with darker tones, where its color can fully stand out. A productive variety with good vase life.
Dahlia tubers are planted outdoors in a bed after the last frosts, usually in May. If you want flowering to start earlier, you can begin waking the tubers in March and April by placing them in a pot and keeping the pot indoors. The tubers will start producing new shoots; after that, the formed plants can be transplanted outdoors when frosts are no longer a threat.
In autumn, the tubers are dug up and overwintered in a box in a cellar or another cool place.
