Dahlia 'Henriette' 1 tuber
Dahlia 'Henriette' - an elegant semi-cactus variety with fine, elongated petal tips in soft salmon, peach and light pink tones. The dark stems beautifully highlight the pastel-toned flowers. The variety forms long, sturdy stems and is weather-resistant, making it an excellent choice for cut flowers. Blooms abundantly from mid-summer until the first frosts, maintaining an elegant and expressive form throughout the season.
Dahlia tubers are planted outdoors in a flower bed after the last frosts, usually in May. If you want flowering to start earlier, the tubers can be started in March and April by placing them in a pot and keeping the pot indoors. The tubers will begin to sprout new shoots; after that, the developed plants can be transplanted outdoors when frosts are no longer a threat.
In autumn, the tubers are dug up and overwintered in a box in a cellar or another cool place.
