Dahlia 'Stolze von Berlin' 1 tuber
Dahlia 'Stolze von Berlin'- transl. 'Pride of Berlin' — soft lilac/pink ball-shaped flowers with a delicate pearlescent sheen. Flowers about 7–9 cm in diameter. Forms long, sturdy stems that are ideal for cut flowers.
Dahlia tubers are planted outdoors in a bed after the last frosts, usually in May. If you want flowering to start earlier, you can begin waking the tubers in March and April by placing them in a pot and keeping the pot indoors. The tubers will start producing new shoots; after that, the formed plants can be transplanted outdoors when frosts are no longer a threat.
In autumn, dig up the tubers and overwinter them in a box in the cellar or another cool place.
