Dahlia 'Wizard of Oz' 1 tuber
Dahlia 'Wizard of Oz' - a romantic, delicate dahlia. Perfectly round, densely formed flowers in a soft pink tone. Flower size about 7–9 cm in diameter. The plant grows to about 80 cm tall, with strong, straight flower stems, which makes it ideal for cut flowers.
Dahlia tubers are planted outdoors in a bed after the last frosts, usually in May. If you want flowering to start earlier, you can begin waking the tubers in March and April by placing the tubers in a pot and keeping the pot indoors. The tubers will start producing new shoots; after that, the formed plants can be transplanted outdoors when frosts are no longer a threat.
In autumn, the tubers are dug up and overwintered in a box in a cellar or another cool place.
