Cornflower 'Blue Ball' (Centaurea cyanus) is a beautiful, fast-growing annual plant with bright blue, double flower heads. It reaches up to 80 cm in height and fits perfectly in flower beds, borders, natural meadows, and as cut flowers. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soil, requires moderate watering. The most suitable time for direct sowing outdoors is early spring or late autumn to obtain earlier blooms. Attracts pollinators, bees, and butterflies.

Blooms from June to August, depending on sowing time. If sown in autumn, it can start blooming already in late spring. Regular removal of faded flowers promotes longer flowering.
