Crimson clover (Trifolium incarnatum)
Crimson clover (Trifolium incarnatum) - Known as an excellent honey plant and as a nitrogen fixer for the soil. Crimson clover is a soft and hairy clover with carmine-red flower heads. It is used in cultivation as green manure and as an ornamental flower. Crimson clover is very suitable for natural gardens and serves excellently as a plant for bees and bumblebees.
Fast-growing, it is also an excellent weed suppressor and ensures a rapid increase in soil fertility. Grows in various types of soil. Used to improve sandy soils.
If sown at the end of summer/beginning of autumn, it will bloom in spring. If sown in spring or summer, it will bloom after 2-3 months.
