Annual sage 'Oxford Blue' (Salvia viridis) – an annual plant that blooms from June to September (VI–IX) with striking white flowers. Sow seeds indoors in seed trays 6–8 weeks before the last expected frost, or directly outdoors after the last frost. Lightly press seeds onto the soil surface without covering, as light is required for germination. Seeds germinate in 10–20 days. Transplant seedlings outdoors after the last frost. The plant reaches 40–60 cm in height and prefers a sunny location, thriving in well-drained soil and tolerating only moderate moisture. Painted Sage prefers full sun but can tolerate partial shade.
