Lisianthus ‘Rosanne 2 Terracotta’ F1 (Eustoma grandiflorum) belongs to the Rosanne series, which stands out for its unique, modern colors and fully double flowers. The flowers are sturdy with straight stems, ensuring good transportability, and the vase life is excellent, making this variety ideal for both mono vases and mixed bouquets. The color of the 'Terracotta' variety is warm, orange-brown, reddish-brown. The petals gradually become slightly lighter at the edges. A trendy and natural tone that pairs well with other varieties.
Group 2 – spring to summer harvest. A universal and most widely used group. Suitable for planting in early spring, it adapts well to changing conditions and does not produce flowers until a strong root system has developed.
Cultivation and sowing: Seeds are started 10–12 weeks before the last frost nights in warm soil (+21–24 °C). Germinates in 20-25 days. Seedlings grow well in moderately moist, humus-rich, and well-drained substrate, and are transplanted to their permanent location after the risk of frost has passed. The flowering period from transplanting lasts about 12–14 weeks. Lisianthus ‘Rosanne 2 Terracotta’ is suitable both for cut flowers and for decorative cultivation in beds or pots.
