Mexican fleabane ‘Profusion’ (Erigeron karvinskianus) – a perennial plant with abundant and long-lasting flowering. Forms lush, trailing or cushion-shaped clumps densely covered with small, daisy-like flowers. The flowers open white, gradually turning pink to purplish shades, creating a very lively and changing color effect.
Blooms from spring to autumn, especially abundantly in warm and sunny weather. Suitable for flower beds, rock gardens, borders, balcony boxes, and hanging pots. Prefers a sunny location and well-drained, light soil. Drought tolerant after establishment. In cooler climates, often grown as an annual, but in milder winters can overwinter as a perennial. Good self-seeder.
Sow indoors for seedlings or directly outdoors; germinates in about 7 days (15-18 °C), light is necessary for germination, so just press the seeds into the soil.
