The oriental poppy is a perennial. The oriental poppy has large, double, silky flowers. The stem is firm and durable. A mix of various shades. Sow directly into the ground in a permanent location in May/June. Cover the seeds with a very thin layer of soil and lightly press the soil. Fertile, loamy, well-cultivated soil is required. Can be replanted to another location in September. Blooms the following year after sowing.
