Sunflower 'Taiyo' (Helianthus annuus) - A classic sunflower, one of the most beautiful sunflowers, which is not improved in height, but rather in flower color. A Japanese-bred variety. Height is 160 - 200 cm, with an unbranched stem. The flower is warm yellow with a large chocolate-brown center, flower diameter 30 cm. The seeds are edible and can be harvested from mid-September or left for the birds.
