Sweet scabious, mix (Scabiosa atropurpurea) 0,5g
Sweet scabious, mix (Scabiosa atropurpurea) - color mix (white, blue, pink, purple). Produces beautiful, double flowers. The flowers are full, textured, similar to small pompoms, which look very elegant both in flowerbeds and in cut flower arrangements. They sway beautifully in the wind. Blooms for a long time – from summer to autumn, attracting pollinators. Forms slender but sufficiently sturdy flower stems suitable for vases.
Sow indoors from March to May. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and keep the soil slightly moist. After the frosts, can be transplanted outdoors. Scabiosa grows best in well-drained sandy loam soil with an alkaline or neutral pH level. If the soil is heavy, it is recommended to incorporate organic matter to increase drainage. Compost or well-rotted manure will help improve drainage while providing additional fertility to the soil.
