Peas ‘Foxy’, for microgreens (Pisum sativum), 100g
Peas ‘Foxy’, for microgreens. ‘Foxy’ is a high-quality variety, especially popular for growing microgreens. The variety is characterized by small seeds and excellent germination of up to 96%, which ensures a stable and abundant harvest.
Compared to traditional pea varieties, ‘Foxy’ seeds are smaller and growth is faster, allowing you to obtain a larger yield from the same growing area. It stands out with a lush green color, elegant, twining stems and a delicate, decorative appearance. The taste is fresh, mild and slightly nutty, making them an excellent choice for salads, sandwiches and refined cuisine.
Tips for growing microgreens: Soak the seeds for 8–12 hours, then sprinkle them onto the soil in a seed tray with drainage holes. Do not cover the seeds with soil! Put on a dark lid and add a weight so the seed is pressed against the soil. Moisten with water every day. It is convenient to do this with a spray bottle. Keep the weight and darkness until the seed has rooted and begins to sprout. Once germination has started, remove the weight and keep in the light, for example on a windowsill.
