Eucalyptus ‘Moon Lagoon’ (Eucalyptus latens)
Eucalyptus ‘Moon Lagoon’ (Eucalyptus latens) - grows as a small shrub with silvery greenish-gray young leaves, which turn green as they mature. Young shoots can be harvested for use in decorations or to supplement bouquets, both fresh and dried. The variety forms a straight, vertical growth habit. Grows best in a sunny location with moderately fertile, moderately moist, well-drained soil. The plant is drought tolerant.
Eucalyptus is native to Australia; due to the warm climate and bright days, it grows as a perennial plant. In Europe, it is grown as an annual plant. When grown in a pot, eucalyptus reaches up to 90 cm in height, although in natural conditions its height is up to 3 m.
Sow seeds indoors 10–12 weeks before the last frost. Press the seeds into the soil without covering them with soil. Germination is slow, up to 30 days, requiring patience and stable temperature. The vegetation period lasts 120-150 days. Soil pH 5.5 - 6.5
Harvest when the foliage is fully mature. Vase life — 14 days or more. The leaves are also suitable for drying and retain their decorative appearance for a long time.
