Leek 'Golem' (Allium ampeloprasum var. porrum) - Medium-early leek variety for summer and autumn harvest. Sow seeds indoors in seed trays; leeks germinate best in darkness. Transplant outdoors in May into beds in a sunny location with humus-rich soil. Plant deeply to obtain longer white shafts. Low frost tolerance. Exhibits good resistance to bolting.
