Leek ‘Tango’ (Allium porrum) - a late variety intended for autumn harvest. Grown by transplanting seedlings or by sowing directly into the soil. The growing period is 180–200 days after sowing. Plants have upright, bluish-green leaf stalks; the white part reaching 25–30 cm. The variety is frost-resistant down to -10 °C, therefore suitable for cultivation in cooler conditions as well. Grows best in fertile, neutral sandy loam soil. Suitable for use fresh and heat-treated, and also stores well for a long time.
