Allium 'Giganteum'
The ornamental onion Allium giganteum is one of the tallest and most striking ornamental allium species, reaching 100–150 cm in height. It produces large, dense, spherical flower heads measuring 15–20 cm in diameter, composed of violet blooms. Flowering in July, it creates a bold vertical accent in the garden and attracts bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Ideal for planting as a solitary specimen or in groups. The bulbs are hardy and return year after year with equally impressive flowering, and do not need to be lifted after blooming.
