Snake’s head fritillary, 10 bulbs
Snake’s head fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris) is a spring-flowering bulb with nodding, purple to deep burgundy, bell-shaped flowers subtly patterned with a faint, almost invisible chequered design. Growing to around 30 cm tall, it blooms in April–May, creating a soft, airy effect in borders, meadow-style plantings, or beneath deciduous trees. It thrives in sunny or lightly shaded positions with moist but well-drained soil.
