Common zinnia Dahlia-flowered 'Isabellina' (Zinnia elegans)
Common zinnia Dahlia-flowered 'Isabellina' (Zinnia elegans) – a decorative and elegant zinnia variety with dahlia-type, partially or fully double flowers in soft champagne tones. It forms strong stems and compact, bushy clumps, suitable for garden beds as well as cut flower arrangements. Blooms continuously from midsummer to the first frost, attracting butterflies and other pollinators, and is resilient to variable weather conditions. Height approximately 75 cm.
Sow indoors in seed trays 4–6 weeks before the last frost, or directly outdoors after frost. Lightly cover the seeds with soil. Germination takes 7–14 days at 20–25°C. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Water regularly but avoid waterlogged soil. Deadhead spent flowers or cut blooms for vases to encourage continuous flowering.
