Foxglove ‘Dottie Peach’ F1 (Digitalis purpurea) 10 seeds
Foxglove ‘Dottie Peach’ F1 (Digitalis purpurea) – the foxglove is usually a biennial plant, but this hybrid blooms already in the first year if the seeds are sown early, and if left in place, it will also bloom in the second year. ‘Dottie Peach’ forms long, striking inflorescences with peach-colored bell-shaped flowers that seem to glow from within. Thanks to consistent growth, this variety ensures stable quality and high decorative value.
Sow seeds indoors in seed trays 10–12 weeks before the last spring frosts. Transplant seedlings outdoors when the risk of frost has passed. Seeds can also be sown at the end of summer and planted outside to take root before winter. Then, the plant will bloom earlier the following year. Cut flowers when only a few lower flowers have opened. Flowers last 6–8 days in a vase.
⚠️ Attention: Note that parts of the Delphinium genus, including seeds, are poisonous, so caution is needed around children and pets. Contact with the plant may cause irritation, redness, and itching, but the greatest danger arises if plant parts are ingested.
