Garden cosmos 'Cupcake blush' (Cosmos bipinnatus)

Garden cosmos 'Cupcake Blush' (Cosmos bipinnatus) - An elegant, compact, and distinctly decorative variety of cosmos with soft pink, double flowers. ‘Cupcake Blush’ produces strong, upright flower stems that are excellent for cut flowers and decorative beds. The flowers are medium-sized, double, with a soft pink and pale pink hue. Height 80–100 cm (depending on growing conditions).

The flowering period can be extended by regularly removing faded flowers. Cutting about one third of the plants when most flowers have faded encourages a new wave of leaves and flowers.

Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil, as light is needed for germination. Transplant outdoors only after the last frosts. Planting distance 30–50 cm. Do not overwater – cosmos do not like excessive amounts of water.
