Perennial snapdragon (Antirrhinum braun-blanquetii), 20 seeds
Perennial snapdragon (Antirrhinum braun-blanquetii) becomes truly impressive from the second year. The plant naturally branches, flowers for a long period, and produces creamy white to pale yellow blooms. Medium height, about 50 cm, with sturdy stems suitable for cut flowers.
Sow indoors in seed trays, pressing the seeds lightly into the soil without covering them, as snapdragons need light to germinate. To improve germination, seeds can be placed in the refrigerator for 7–10 days beforehand. Keep the soil slightly moist. Plants can be pinched to encourage bushier growth (once they reach at least 10 cm). Transplant outdoors after the last frost. Regular deadheading helps extend the flowering period.
