Purpletop vervain (Verbena bonariensis)

Purpletop vervain commonly known as South American verbena, clustertop vervain, Argentinian vervain, tall verbena or pretty verbena. Perennial in warm climates, if the air temperature in winter does not drop below -5C. The verbena seeds we offer do not require stratification (a cold period). We recommend sowing them in seed trays without any additional treatment. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil. Darkness is required for germination. Seed germination time: 10-30 days.

Plant outdoors after the last frost. Choose a location with well-drained soil and full sun.
