Snapdragon ‘Snowflake’ (Antirrhinum majus maximum) – the ‘maximum’ form is a tall variety, reaching up to 90 cm, with sturdy stems suitable for cut flowers. The ‘Snowflake’ variety is upright with white blooms, adding vertical structure to the garden while creating a light, airy feel. Attracts pollinators.

Sow in seed trays indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost, pressing them lightly onto the soil surface without covering, as snapdragon seeds need light to germinate. To improve germination, seeds can be pre-chilled in the refrigerator for 7–10 days. Snapdragons can be pinched when they reach at least 10 cm to encourage bushier growth. Transplant outdoors into the garden after the last frost. Regularly removing spent flowers prolongs the blooming period.
