Black-eyed Susan 'Maya' (Rudbeckia hirta), 10 seeds
Black-eyed Susan 'Maya' is a compact, abundantly flowering variety with double, golden-yellow flowers with a dark brown center. The flower diameter reaches 8–10 cm. The height reaches 40–50 cm. The flowering period lasts from mid-summer to autumn. This variety is drought and weather resistant, attracts pollinators, and is excellent for both flower beds, pots, and cut flowers.
Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil. Germinates in about 15 to 21 days. If seeds are started indoors, before transplanting outside, gradually acclimate to outdoor conditions by taking the seedlings outside for a few hours. Prefers well-drained soil, but the great feature of this variety is its ability to adapt to different soil types.
