Common zinnia 'Snowman White' (Zinnia elegans)
Common zinnia cactus flowered 'Snowman White' (Zinnia elegans). This zinnia has an interesting flower shape: many petals are narrow and often artistically curled. Belongs to the cactus-flowered zinnias.
Sow indoors in a seed tray 4–6 weeks before the last frost or outdoors directly in the soil after the frost. Lightly cover the seeds with soil. Germinates in 7–14 days at a temperature of 20–25°C.
Zinnias prefer a sunny location and well-drained soil. Water regularly, but avoid excessively wet soil. Pinch off faded flowers or cut flowers for a vase to encourage continuous blooming.
