Strawflower ‘King Size Silvery White’ (Helichrysum bracteatum) 0,2g
Strawflower ‘King Size Silvery White’ (Helichrysum bracteatum) - An impressive, profusely flowering strawflower with large, silvery white blooms that stand out beautifully in garden beds. The flowers are firm and papery, making them ideal for cut flower arrangements as well as for drying, as they retain both color and shape. The plant produces straight, strong stems and blooms abundantly throughout the summer until the first frosts. Height: approximately 100 cm.
Sow in seed trays from February to April, pressing seeds lightly onto the surface of the soil without covering them, as light is required for germination. Germination occurs within 7–14 days at 18–22 °C. Once seedlings are large enough, transplant into individual pots and, after the last frost, move outdoors to a sunny location with well-drained soil. Easy to grow and drought-tolerant; regularly remove spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming.
