Watermelon 'Crimson sweet' (Citrullus lanatus), 5 seeds
Watermelon ‘Crimson Sweet’ – producing large, round to oval fruits with a dark green rind and lighter green stripes. The flesh is bright pink-red, juicy, very sweet and rich in sugar. Reaches maturity approximately 80 days after sowing. Fruits can weigh up to 15 kg. Harvest typically in August–September.
Seeds germinate in about 10 days. Soil temperature should be around 25 °C or higher for best germination; in cooler soil, sprouting will be slower. Suitable for growing in warm, sunny locations, preferably in greenhouses or under cover in cooler climates.
