Mazā trīsene (Briza minor) ir dekoratīvs zālaugs. Līdzīga Lielajai trīsenei, taču vārpas izmērs ir krietni mazāks, ap 0,5cm.
Sēj laukā tieši zemē aprīlī - maijā, labi drenētā augsnē. Atkarībā no temperatūras pirmie dēsti parādīsies pēc 2 - 3 nedēļām.
