Agastache ‘Liquorice White’ (Agastache rugosa) 20 seeds
Agastache ‘Liquorice White’ (Agastache rugosa) – also known as Korean mint, wrinkled giant hyssop, purple giant hyssop. Perennial aromatic herb with beautiful flower spikes. The flowers are white, borne on upright stems that create a vertical accent in garden beds. Attracts pollinators – bees and butterflies. Typically grows 70–80 cm tall. Suitable for garden beds, pots, and also as a culinary herb for teas and desserts. Leaves have a mild anise flavor. Thrives in full sun, in well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Blooms from mid-summer to autumn. Hardy, easy to grow, and drought-tolerant. Even though Agastache rugosa is primarily a culinary herb, the cultivars ‘Liquorice Blue’ and ‘Liquorice White’ are often grown mainly for their ornamental value.
Sow seeds in spring in seed trays or directly in the garden after the last frost. Seeds germinate in 10–21 days. Once transplanted, seedlings can be pinched to encourage bushier growth.
