Salad burnet (Sanguisorba minor) is grown to obtain new leaves and flower buds, which are added to salads or herb butter. They are slightly spicy. Can be added to dishes just before serving.
Brownwort can be sown in two ways: 1) in September - October outdoors. Then the seeds germinate the following spring. 2) In March - April in seedling boxes indoors. If the soil temperature is 20ºC, the first seedlings will appear after two weeks. After the last frosts, it can be planted outdoors. Brownwort does not like excessive moisture, so the soil should be well-drained.
